PAYMENTS, CANCELLATIONS AND MAJOR HOLIDAYS
These policies are firm. Read them carefully before booking.
Payments 1. All general reservations will be charged a deposit of 50% via credit/debit card at the time of booking.
2. Any outstanding balances for reservations will be charged to the credit card on file 1 week before your arrival day.
3. Reservations for single nights and those made within seven (7) days of arrival require non-refundable payment in full. Our reservation system will charge you a 50% deposit at the time of booking and we will charge the remainder of the balance to your credit card as soon as we receive the reservation. (Usually the same day.) Cancellations for these reservations will result in forfeiture of all payments.

Cabin Cancellations Policies Our Cabin Cancellation Policy: If your cabin reservation is cancelled more than 1 month prior to your arrival date, we will refund your deposit, minus a $50 cancellation fee. There are no refunds for cabin cancellations made less than 1 month prior to arrival.
Forced Closures: If Ash Grove is forced to close through no fault of our own (i.e., local ordinances, epidemics, natural disasters, etc.), no deposit or payment refunds will be issued outside of our standard cancellation policies. In order to protect your reservation from these potential occurrences, we now offer travel protection, which can be added when making your reservation.
Date changes are approved at our discretion and render all payments non-refundable. Failure to show or early departures due to weather, etc., will receive no refund.
Major Holidays Major Holidays are: Valentine's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s, and the days immediately surrounding them.
All deposits and payments made for Major Holidays are non-refundable and all balances must be paid in full one month in advance of your stay.
Reservations made more than one month in advance, will be charged the remaining balance to the credit/debit card on file 1 month before your arrival date.
If you have made your reservation online within a month of your arrival date, our reservation system will charge you a 50% deposit and we will charge the remainder of the balance to your credit card as soon as we receive the reservation. (Usually the same day.)
Weather Camping is an outdoor activity and Ash Grove is located in the Appalachian Temperate Rainforest. We get an average of 67 inches of rain a year. For this reason we do not offer any refunds or 'rain checks' for bad weather. In order to protect your reservation from potential bad weather, we now offer travel protection, which can be added when making your reservation. Plan your trip with possible wet weather in mind. If you need tips on how to do that, give us a call!
No-Shows If you plan to arrive after our office closes on your check-in day, you must inform us that you would like a self-check-in. If we have not heard from you by check in time on your scheduled arrival day, you will be considered a no-show. All remaining nights of your reservation will be cancelled with no refund.
Travel Protection If you are making a reservation and purchasing Travel Protection, you will be charged the Full Amount for your stay at the time of reservation. While our cancellation policies still apply to your reservation, the Travel Protection fees are absolutely non-refundable. No Exceptions. Our Travel Protection is offered through a third party. If you are purchasing Travel Protection, make sure that you fully read and understand the Terms and Conditions, as we cannot make any changes and are not responsible for its fulfillment.
OTHER POLICIES
Pet Policy All of our cabins are pet friendly. Up to 2 pets are allowed without prior approval. Pets must be current on their vaccinations and on a flea control program. Pets must be on a leash or chain when outside the cabin, and under their owner's control at all times. Pets must not be a nuisance to other guests (e.g., barking), and should not be left unattended for long periods. It is your responsibility to clean up after your pet.
Visitors Our facilities are for our registered guests only, unless prior arrangements have been made. There may be an additional charge for visitors during peak times. Guests are responsible for their visitors' behavior. No overnight visitors. Visitors must leave by 9:00pm.
Parking On our mountaintop, flat areas for parking are extremely limited. Cabins are allowed to have up to 2 vehicles per cabin. There may be an extra charge for additional vehicles.
Amenities Amenities offered are subject to change. While we try our best to keep amenities such as TV, Wi-Fi, gas log fireplaces, laundry facilities, etc, in good repair, circumstances beyond our control sometimes prevent them from being available. There is no refund or rate reduction in such circumstances.
Damages We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying damage, caused by the deliberate, negligent or reckless act of the guest, to Ash Grove's property or structure. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to the guest’s credit / debit card, or send an invoice for the amount to the registered address. We will however make every effort to rectify any damage internally prior to contracting specialists to make the repairs, and therefore will make every effort to keep any costs that the guest would incur to a minimum.
